Dear users,
To improve the platform’s security, we have reset the two-factor authentication settings of your Cryptaur / CPT Point personal account to authentication by email. We ask you to set up Google Authenticator as the most convenient and safe way to protect your account.
If you have previously used authentication by email or SMS, please switch to Google Authenticator. If you have previously used Google Authenticator, please set it up afresh.
For your convenience we prepared instructions for you (test data used for demonstration purposes).
Instruction
1. Go to your personal account’s Settings section and click the “Two-factor authentication” tab. Click the “Get a code” button. A secret code will be sent to your email. Enter it in the “Authorization code” field and click the “Save” button.
2. A window with a QR code will appear. Install Google Authenticator on your mobile device (download: Android / IOS), launch it and scan the QR code (or use its text version). You will get a numeric code in Google Authenticator.
3. Click “Complete” in your account and enter the numeric code you received from Google Authenticator to confirm the updated settings. Click the “OK” button.
After completing these three simple steps, two-factor authorization using Google Authenticator will be set up in your personal account to provide its reliable protection.
