How to make a PROVER video

To create a PROVER video, download and install the PROVER SWYPE ID app on your phone for the Android or iOS operating system. Register yourself in it as a new user. Then follow the instructions below.

Video creation is cost-free

PF tokens are required to create videos, however this will not pose any problems for you. When you register in the PROVER SWYPE ID Application, PF tokens (1 500 PF) are credited to your account and reflected on its balance. This amount of PF will be enough to make several Prover videos.

Settings for shooting

The choice of camera depends on the way you plan to shoot the video (a rectangle with a silhouette of a person on the main screen of the Application). It is recommended to use the front camera. The resolution of the recording should be selected in the “Settings” section (wheel in the upper right corner).

1

Select the Biometric User Authentication scenario. Before you start recording, be sure to familiarize yourself with the sequence of actions that you need to carry out in the process of filming and what they consist of. Prepare the text that you will speak (see the list below), and place it in front of you. Prepare your passport for demonstration.

2

Record the video following the instructions in the app. After you complete the shooting successfully, the resulting video will be uploaded to the gallery. Now you can send it for verification (upper right "Verify" button ). After that, your video file will be automatically checked (how long it will take will depend on your Internet connection). If the connection interrupts, you need to press the "Verification" button again.

3

After the checking of the video file is completed, you will receive a Report with the verification results. By clicking the "Details" button, you will be able to see the details of the transaction with the video hash.

4

Click the "Share File" icon - you will receive a message offering to archive the file. This is a prerequisite for saving the data. Click the “Archive” button and send the video validated by  Prover to your computer. Choose the method that is convenient for you: e-mail, saving to Google Drive, etc.

5

After that you need to unzip the file on your computer(right-click on the file and select the “Extract” command) and upload it to EPassport.

In order to check your Prover video, upload your file to the validation service. Find the "Check file" section at the end of the page, click the "Choose a file" button and upload your video file. After that, you will receive the verification result (verification in the blockchain).
